You will want to check with your insurance to see if they will reimburse for an "out of nework provider" and if they do, you'll want to ask what percentage they will reimburse.
You will need to pay the full fee up-front right at the beginning of the session. You will then submit a "superbill" to your insurance company and they will reimburse you a certain percentage of that fee. Typically insurance companies will reimburse 60 to 80%.
If you have insurance, you can contact your insurance company to ask if they will reimburse you for the sessions. I am an "Out of Network Provider" and I will provide you with a detailed receipt called a "superbill" upon request that you may submit to your insurance company. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
